A fantastic stay! Great location, spacious, quirky, comfortable and homely - a really special house. Kitchen has everything you need. Two bathrooms was very handy too as we went in a party of four. Can recommend the pub over the road for food too. Will be back, thanks for having us :)

Perfect, perfect, perfect. Perfect house, perfect setting, perfect weather. Just had a fabulous week in a very special place. Station House is very comfortable and well equipped and within easy reach of so many wonderful places. Well worth a visit would recommend spending time there. Many thanks to Dee and Russell and the railway men all of which are very helpful and friendly. Had a great time.

We had a lovely week at Tal y Cafn Station House a few years back. What a beautiful old building inside and out. Loads of character. The dogs loved the long garden for chasing balls and we had a lovely relaxing week. Great location too for exploring North Wales and we loved Portmerion. And you couldn't wish for a nicer Landlady. Highly recommended.

First visit october 2017 and every year since, sometimes twice a year. Next week back again for a lovely stay at our home from home. Dee the owner has since become a friend and in touch regularly. Come and experience this charming cottage, yes there are trains so expect some noise but it's not intrusive. The Tal Y Cafn pub is open again and less than 2 minutes walk away.
